NEW CAYMAN FROM PORSCHE
NEW CAYMAN FROM PORSCHE

PORSCHE has announced a new 303bhp Cayman model, set to be joining the range this autumn.

Featuring a highly tuned version of the 3.4-litre flat-six unit, the Cayman Sport S will be available as standard in the orange and green paint codes from the 911 GT3 RS alongside five other shades.

Alloy wheels, mirrors and air intakes will all be painted black on the new model, giving it a moody and menacing appeal. That trend will be continued inside, where the black leather interior will be complimented by alcantara on the gear lever, hand brake and steering wheel.

The Cayman Sport S will feature Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard and will be 10mm lower than the standard car, with the 19-inch alloys spaced 5mm further from the car to give it a wider and more aggressive stance.

A limited edition model, each of the 700 cars produced will sport a numbered plaque.

Available from September 13, 2008, the model will cost £49,890.
