EURO HARLEY ROLLS OFF PRODUCTION LINE

THE first Harley-Davidson designed exclusively for the European market began production this week.

The first batch of the XR1200 roadsters, based on the legendary Harley XR750 dirt-track racer, will be shipped to Europe upon completion.

The XR1200 was launched at Cologne Motorcycle Show in October 2006 to gauge customer reaction on a new breed of performance orientated Harley-Davidsons. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the project was given the green light.

There are already over 600 deposits placed on the bike that will cost £7,655 on the road.
